The Uganda Vocational and Technical Assessment Board (UVTAB) has announced that the Minister of Education and Sports will tomorrow, Friday release the end of program assessment results for the May/June series.
The release of results ceremony, according to UVTAB Executive Secretary, Onesmus Oyesigye shall be done at 10:00 a.m at the UVTAB National Skills Assessment Centre, Kyambogo Hill.
"A total of 30,619 candidates were registered for the May/June 2025 end-of-programme assessments from 499 assessment centres. Of these centres, 306 (61%) and 193 (39%) are formal and Informal TVET providers respectively. Of these candidates, 17,423 were female and 13,196 candidates were male,Oyesigye said.
He noted that the assesments were conducted between May 2 and June 17.
The assessments covered broad categories of Technical Education and Training (TVET) programmes, including: Technology Education and Training, Business Education and Training, Home Science Education and Training and Sports Education and Training and Informally Acquired Skills.
"UVTAB remains committed to upholding high standards in the assessment and certification of competences acquired through formal and informal TVET in Uganda,"he said.
