Furaha, Pegasus partner to ease acquisition, payment of school fees

Furaha Finserve Uganda Limited and Pegasus Technologies Limited have announced a strategic partnership aimed at revolutionizing education financing.

Through this partnership, Ugandans will be able to get school fees loans that the cash will be paid directly to schools through Pegasus’ PegPay platform.

With this partnership, a parent who has got a school fees loan from Furaha will be able to repay within three months.

Yustus Aribariho, the Furaha co- founder said that with the biggest challenge to accessing quality education in Uganda being lack of access to finances, such a partnership comes in to plug this gap.

“One of the challenges we have had in this industry is that everyone tries to do everything by themselves and that is not sustainable. We will never be able to serve the public without these platforms. Modern day has given us opportunity to use data driven models to enable financing of our needs,” Aribariho said.
