Ugandan graduates have been urged to be agents of change wherever they go.

"The future of Uganda depends on you, graduates. Don't wait for the government to fight corruption; start by being corrupt-free individuals. Embrace spiritual growth, and remember that perseverance and community service are key to success,” the State Minister for ICT and National Guidance, Godfrey Kabbyanga said.

The minister was speaking during the graduation ceremony for the class of 2024 at IYF We Can Academy.

Kabyanga emphasized the importance of hard work, corruption-free living, and spiritual growth.

“You should look for jobs instead of sitting watching football and  movies . Remember a corrupt free Uganda starts with you. Do wait for government to fight corruption.”

He also said spiritual matters are very important in our earthly lives since this brings about a changed mindset hence a developed Uganda.

Rev. James Kim, the Director of We Can Academy, applauded the 2024 class for the successful graduation.

"Today, we celebrate not only your  achievements but also your resilience, creativity, and compassion. We are confident they will make a positive impact in the world and become agents of change."

The ceremony included special awards and recognition for outstanding students who excelled in various fields.
