Norman Musinga appointed new deputy traffic director in latest police changes
Norman Musinga is back in traffic police.
The changes announced on Wednesday takes immediate effect.

The Inspector General of Police, Abbas Byakagaba has made fresh changes in the leadership of the police force.

The changes announced on Wednesday evening saw Norman Musinga, who has been serving as the Regional Police Commander for Busoga East appointed acting deputy traffic police director.

The changes have also seen AIGP Geoffrey Musana who was recently promoted to director moved from the directorate of welfare, production and sports and sent to Uganda’s Embassy in South Sudan as a police attache to replace Moses Sakira who has been sent to the directorate of research and planning as a deputy director.

The fresh changes have also seen Timothy Halango move from the research and planning directorate to the directorate of welfare, product and sports as a deputy director  while Ben Mubangizi has been moved from traffic police to Algeria as a police attache.

Others are Charles Ssebambulidde who has been moved from the agriculture police to the directorate of logistics and engineering as the acting deputy director in charge of classified stories while Phillip Acaye has been appointed the new agriculture police commandant.

The changes take immediate effect.
