China-Africa tourism cooperation has been expanding
The rapid development of tourism in Africa has helped African countries achieve sound economic growth. The arrival of a large number of tourists has stimulated the growth of consumer spending, providing great support for local hotels, catering, and other industries.
Tourism is an important part of people-to-people exchanges between China and Africa. It has played a positive role in strengthening people-to-people exchanges, enhancing mutual understanding and friendship, building harmonious relations, and promoting economic and social prosperity. Africa, with its unique natural scenery and cultural customs, and rich tourism resources, is becoming one of the popular destinations for Chinese tourists.
In recent years, with the increase of direct flights between China and Africa and the introduction of favorable measures such as the relaxation of visa policies, China's tourism demand for Africa has been continuously released, and China-Africa tourism cooperation has gradually deepened. China has signed bilateral tourism cooperation documents with 31 African countries, established 166 pairs of sister cities with Africa, and actively invited each other's countries to participate in tourism exhibitions and hold tourism information meetings, setting up platforms for Chinese and African tourism authorities and tourism industries to exchange experience, negotiate business and promote products.
