Pride Bank Wins Global Recognition for Innovative Insurance Solution

Pride Bank Limited has earned global recognition after winning the Most Innovative Insurance Product – Pride Care Uganda 2026 award at the prestigious Global Banking & Finance Awards 2026.

The accolade underscores the Bank’s commitment to delivering forward-thinking financial solutions tailored to the evolving needs of its customers.

The award-winning product, Pride Care—also known as Malayo ne Pride—is an insurance solution designed to provide affordable and accessible coverage to individuals and families, particularly in underserved communities.

It directly addresses everyday risks faced by customers, offering protection while enhancing financial resilience.

Through Malayo ne Pride, the bank has simplified insurance by making it more relatable, culturally relevant, and easy to access.

With a minimum balance requirement of just Shs 100,000, more Ugandans can confidently embrace financial protection as part of their daily lives.

In addition to this global recognition, Pride Care also received acclaim at the Insurance Innovation Awards 2025, held on March 27, 2025.

During the event, Pride Bank’s partner, Padre Pio Insurance Brokers, won the Most Innovative Insurance Broker Award for the same product. This dual recognition highlights the power of collaboration in delivering impactful and innovative insurance solutions.
