Prudential Launches  Life Insurance Premium Payments Via Airtel Money

By | March 24, 2026

Prudential Uganda has introduced a new digital payment option that allows customers to pay life insurance premiums instantly using Airtel Money.

This development follows a partnership with NxtPe, a payments solution provider focused on secure and seamless transactions.

The new payment option removes barriers related to time, distance, and reliance on physical payment channels. Customers can now complete premium payments directly from their mobile money wallets, with transactions reflecting instantly. This supports consistent policy management and strengthens long-term financial protection.

The partnership aligns with Prudential Uganda’s commitment to delivering simple and accessible financial solutions. By integrating mobile money—already widely used in everyday transactions—the initiative expands access to insurance and enhances convenience for customers across the country.

Commenting on the partnership, Tetteh Ayitevie, Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Uganda, said:
“এই partnership improves how people access and maintain their Prudential life insurance policies. Premium payments now fit seamlessly into everyday mobile money use. This strengthens financial protection, reduces missed payments, and supports our goal of making financial solutions simple and accessible for all Ugandans.”

The integration also supports Prudential Uganda’s agency network by reducing payment friction during sales and policy renewals. Instant payment confirmation shortens the time from purchase to policy activation and builds greater confidence among clients.

Neelesh, Chief Executive Officer of NxtPe, added: “Our focus is on removing friction from essential payments. Partnering with Prudential Uganda brings life insurance closer to people through mobile money. Secure and instant payments help build consistency and trust in financial protection.”
