Six Years of Breaking Barriers: Zeus The Agency Gains Regional Recognition

By | December 18, 2025

In just six years, Zeus The Agency has gone from a bold startup to a recognized force in East Africa’s creative and marketing landscape, earning accolades on both sides of the Uganda-Kenya border.

The agency’s rise has been marked by a string of achievements that underscore its growing influence.

At the UMEA Awards 2025 in Kampala, Zeus was named Advertising Campaign of the Year for its “I am Streetwise” campaign for KFC Uganda.

The campaign, celebrated for its cultural fluency and authenticity, captured the spirit and energy of today’s youth. Rather than speaking to its audience, the campaign spoke with them, demonstrating the power of storytelling that reflects lived experiences.

"As we celebrate six years, these awards represent more than recognition. They symbolize our belief in African creativity and the possibilities ahead. Our wins in Uganda and Kenya show that when strategy meets imagination and culture meets bold execution, great things happen. We are not just creating campaigns; we are shaping conversations, building influence, and helping rewrite the future of marketing on our continent," said Jeff Amani, CEO of Zeus The Agency.

Zeus’ influence extends beyond individual campaigns. During the UMEA Awards, Amani delivered the State of Marketing Address, offering insights into the evolution of creative intelligence, the growing role of data-led strategy, and the responsibility of African agencies in global brand-building.

The agency’s success has not been limited to Uganda. In Kenya, Zeus was named Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Agency of the Year at the Marketing World Awards, recognizing its ability to deliver multi-platform strategies that blend creativity, technology, culture, and measurable results.

Six years on, Zeus has built a footprint that spans borders, strengthened client partnerships, and championed African storytelling.

The agency now looks ahead to expanding its regional presence, investing in creative technology, and nurturing the next generation of African creative talent.

"This isn’t about age, it’s about appetite," Amani reflected. "Six years is not a finish line; it’s a proving ground. Long enough to be tested. Short enough to stay dangerous."

From award-winning campaigns to regional recognition, Zeus The Agency continues to set the standard for culturally grounded, human-centered marketing across East Africa.
