Salam Television and Infotrust Property Consultants have officially handed over a piece of land in Busiika to Lutaaya Huzairu, the second-place winner in the 2025 Omumanyi wa Salam TV campaign.
The symbolic gesture reflects an ongoing partnership aimed at empowering Ugandans through practical, community-driven initiatives.
Speaking during the handover ceremony at Infotrust headquarters in Ntinda, Salam TV Managing Director Hajji Karim Kaliisa reaffirmed the station’s dedication to rewarding knowledge and impact.
He used the occasion to announce the launch of Omumanyi wa Salam TV 2026 and called on prospective participants to register early.
“This partnership is about trust, empowerment and delivery,” Kaliisa said, thanking Infotrust Property Consultants for honouring their commitment.
“We encourage Ugandans to support them because they have proved reliable and community-focused.”
Infotrust CEO Miriam Tusubira expressed gratitude for the relationship with Salam TV and Next Media, describing it as mutually beneficial. She credited the partnership for expanding their reach, particularly among the Muslim community.
“This is more than just business. It is about giving back and walking the talk,” Tusubira said, inviting Ugandans at home and in the diaspora to explore their affordable land offers.
In a strong endorsement of the partnership, Sheikh Mafo Shafik described Salam TV as a trusted brand and said their collaboration with Infotrust would yield even greater dividends for the public.

Lutaaya Huzairu, the 2025 first runner-up, expressed his appreciation to both organisations for delivering on their pledge.

The event concluded with a tour of Infotrust offices and JB’s Tailor headquarters in Ntinda by Hajji Kaliisa and the Salam TV team. They commended the businesses for their creative spirit and contribution to community empowerment.
Infotrust also handed over the land title to Huzairu and committed to processing the full transfer of ownership free of charge within a week—an act that reinforced their reputation for reliability.
