The Villa, one of Kampala’s standout nightlife destinations, celebrated its third anniversary on Saturday, 8th November 2025, marking three years of shaping the city’s party culture with style, music, and a consistently premium experience.
Since opening, The Villa has built a reputation for its vibrant atmosphere, top-tier entertainment, and its ability to bring together a diverse community of party lovers, creatives, and trendsetters. The anniversary celebration was a true reflection of this identity: energetic, memorable, and in tune with Kampala’s evolving social scene.
To mark the milestone, The Villa curated a dynamic entertainment lineup that kept the venue buzzing well into the night. Elijah Kitaka delivered a standout performance showcasing his distinctive blend of reggae and Afropop, captivating the crowd with his smooth vocals and rhythmic presence. The acclaimed Janzi Band followed with their signature fusion of live instrumentals and crowd-favorite hits. On the decks, DJ Mercy Pro, DJ Mato, and DJ Jerry kept the dancefloor moving with a seamless mix of Afrobeats, Amapiano, dancehall, and Ugandan club classics.
The celebration was held in partnership with Next Radio, a continued cultural presence in Kampala’s entertainment ecosystem. Timothy Code, one of Next Radio’s most recognizable on-air personalities and presenter of The Tranzit, served as the official MC, steering the night with charisma and keeping revelers fully engaged.
Next Radio continues to champion music and youth-driven culture across various platforms. Listeners can tune in on 106.1 FM, via the Afromobile App, on DStv and Startimes, or stream online via nextradio.co.ug.
As The Villa steps into its fourth year, the venue remains committed to delivering refined nightlife experiences through artist showcases, themed nights, and spaces that encourage connection and enjoyment. Its ability to consistently evolve while maintaining its identity has secured its place as a favorite among both casual and dedicated nightlife enthusiasts.
The third anniversary was not just a celebration of passing time, but of a culture The Villa has steadily shaped and continues to define.
