Ampurire gets Vivo energy boost
Vivo Energy Uganda has awarded Night Ampurire, with a one year’s supply of fuel and vehicle servicing for her brand-new double cabin vehicle which she recently received as a donation from MTN Uganda to boost her vending business.
Vivo Energy Uganda's contribution will help her manage operational costs, increasing her chances of success.
Ampurire's story gained widespread on social media, with many praising her resilience and unwavering commitment to provide for her of five children including her four-month-old baby through selling fruits from a dilapidated pickup truck.
She was awarded under Vivo Energy’s launch of phase two of the ‘Kigwera Ku Shell’ back-to-school promotion in Kitende along Entebbe Road.
The promotion is aimed at building and supporting parents as they prepare their children to go back to school for their next term of the year.
The gesture also aims to support and empower micro-entrepreneurs in Uganda.
Vivo Energy Uganda Managing Director, Joanita Mukasa Menya said through the previous promotions, the communication company has been able to realize the impactful support towards the community enabling the calling of more support towards the needy like Night Ampurire.
“In this phase, we are counting a lot of winners, so I call upon everyone to come and participate in our promotions as we continue to create an impact and relieve burden on the society” Menya stated.
She added that phase two of the promotion targets over 60 winners aiming at school going back children.
This partnership demonstrates Vivo energy’s commitment to supporting Uganda's entrepreneurial spirit and promoting economic development.
Ampurire lauded Vivo Energy for the support towards the acceleration of her business urging that yearly supply of fuel and vehicle servicing for her brand-new double cabin vehicle will.
“I have learnt ,lessons and I urge all people especially women to always be patient ,hardworking ,you never know one day things can change like how mine has changed” Ampurire urged.
