He expressed confidence that the new leadership will revive the team’s fortunes following a disappointing outing last season.

“Although we did not perform well last season, I strongly believe this new committee has the ability to turn things around and bring victory back to Bulemeezi,” Mulondo said.

He also called on the community to rally behind the team, particularly through financial support, to strengthen its competitiveness.

“I call upon all our people to support this team, especially financially, so that we can compete effectively and reclaim our glory,” he added.

In the new structure, Frank Mutalaga retains his role as patron, while Jonathan Yiga takes on the position of committee chairman.

Speaking on behalf of the leadership, Mutalaga pledged commitment to rebuilding the team into a formidable force in the tournament.

“We are fully committed to ensuring that Bulemeezi FC becomes a strong and competitive side again. The process has already begun with recruiting players from different Masaza teams because our target is clear—winning the 2026 Masaza Cup,” he said.

Yiga emphasised teamwork and discipline as key pillars for success.

“This committee is ready to work as a team and ensure proper organization, discipline, and success for Bulemeezi FC,” he noted.

Bulemeezi County boasts a strong pedigree in the Masaza Cup, having lifted the title three times—in 2012, 2019, and 2023—giving leaders confidence that the team can mount another serious title challenge.

The 2026 Masaza Cup tournament is expected to run from June to October.

Other members of the newly appointed committee include Juma Kasolo (Chairman Administration), Lukia Tebesigwa (Vice Chairperson Administration), Patrick Kaweesi (Secretary), Lydia Najjuma (Treasurer), Mutumba Moses (Security), Innocent Mugabo (Team Manager), and Emmanuel Mugeere (Publicity), among others.
