The Tuesday parliamentary sitting was treated a free drama when some of the legislators who went to cheer Uganda Cranes during the African Nations Cup in Egypt started washing their dirty linen in public.
MPs Anita Among, Odonga Otto and Nakiwala Kiyingi accused Allan Ssewanyana, the Makindye West MP of misbehaving in Egypt.
They said Ssewanyana had lit a fire in one of the stadiums leading to his brief arrest
The MPs claimed his behaviour tainted the image of the country and that of Parliament of Uganda.
But Ssewanyana said the three legislators have made Uganda Cranes a business and were behind the player's strike.
Cranes players received to train before the game against Senegal claiming that they had not been paid bonuses for advancing from the group stage.
FUFA later moved in and calmed the situation
Ssewanyana claimed that the officials had made deals with some FUFA officials to inflate the player's bonuses such that they can get a kick back.
Uganda Cranes was eliminated by the Senegal in the round of 16.
