Kigezi Police Receive Troop Carrier to Strengthen Regional Operations
The Kigezi Regional Police Command has received a new troop carrier vehicle from Police headquarters in a move aimed at improving mobility, response capacity, and service delivery across the region.

The Uganda Police Force in the Kigezi region has received a troop carrier vehicle to strengthen policing operations and improve service delivery across the area.

Kigezi Regional Police Commander Alex Wabwire said the vehicle was delivered on Wednesday morning and officially received by regional police leadership at the headquarters in Kabale.

“We express gratitude to Inspector General of Police Abas Byakagaba and his team for allocating the vehicle to Kigezi,” Wabwire said.

The newly acquired vehicle, a blue Toyota Isuzu lorry bearing registration number UP00287, will be used to facilitate policing activities, troop movement, and other operational duties within the region.
