The workshop is expected to go beyond speeches, offering a practical and interactive experience aimed at helping participants unlock their potential and take action toward self-reliance and leadership.

Key speakers include Dr Eng Silver Mugisha, known for his leadership at the National Water and Sewerage Corporation, who is expected to share insights on discipline, innovation, and organisational leadership.

Other speakers include Phionah Sanyu, who will guide participants on professionalism, public service, and opportunities within local government structures, and incoming Bushenyi District LC5 Chairperson Prosper Twebaze, who will highlight development opportunities and encourage youth participation in community leadership.

Apollo Lee Kakonge is also expected to challenge young people to think beyond survival and focus on building influence and long-term impact.

A key highlight of the workshop will be a session on the Parish Development Model, where participants will be guided on how to access and benefit from government programmes designed to support grassroots economic transformation.

Organisers have described the event as “3 Hours to Reset Your Direction,” blending mentorship, leadership talks, and interactive engagement with district leaders and professionals.

Entry to the workshop is free, making it accessible to all youth interested in skills development, networking, and personal growth.

Organisers say the goal is to help young people realise that success is achievable through learning, initiative, and active participation in available opportunities.
