Residents of Mabaale Kidda, Kabira Sub County in Kyotera District woke up to sad news of the murder of two people in the area.
Residents claim they heard people raise alarm at about 4:00am but on dashing towards the direction of the alarms, they found Ibrahim Kakooza, 70, and Robert Nyabyenda 55, each lying in a pool of blood, meters away from each other.
According to those who arrived at the scene after the incident, there were blood marks leading away from where one of the deceased’s body(Kakooza) had been dumped, a sign that he was murdered elsewhere and only dragged towards Nyabindi’s body, which lay in a maize plantation a few meters away.
People who saw the duo prior to their murder, claim the deceased were moving together from a local bar joint and that is the last they were spotted.
Meanwhile, a one Nakaweesi, 50, wife to Robert Kakooza has since been arrested in connection with the murder.
