Absa Bank Uganda, in partnership with the Kampala Hash House Harriers (KH3), has announced a star-studded entertainment lineup for the fourth edition of the Absa KH3 7 Hills Run, scheduled for Sunday, May 17, 2026, at the Millennium Grounds in Lugogo.

The post-race entertainment will feature performances from Azawi, Winnie Nwagi, King Saha and Afro-dancehall artiste Dax Vibes, who are expected to headline the cool-down concert after the run.

The annual event combines fitness, community engagement and philanthropy, with a strong focus on supporting the education of the girl child across Uganda.

This year’s proceeds will be directed toward improving menstrual hygiene management in schools, providing bursaries for vulnerable learners, and renovating school infrastructure in selected communities.

Speaking about the initiative, Helen Basuuta Nangonzi, Marketing and Customer Experience Director at Absa Bank Uganda, said the event reflects the bank’s commitment to social impact through community participation.

“This run is about community, resilience, and purpose,” Nangonzi said.

“The energy of these artists mirrors the passion of our runners and their performances will provide a fitting finale to a day driven by collective effort to support the girl child, ensuring every finisher crosses the line into a celebration worth having,” she added.

Beyond its charitable focus, the 2026 edition introduces enhanced rewards for top performers.

The first male and female finishers in the 21-kilometre race will each receive a land title courtesy of Bakaima Real Estate Agents. The overall winner will also receive shs 10 million.

In addition, the top two male and top two female athletes will earn an all-expenses-paid trip to represent Uganda at the Absa Black Stars Marathon in Accra, Ghana.

Organisers say kits are still available starting at shs 35,000 and can be purchased from selected Absa Bank branches and partner outlets.

The race will flag off at 6:30am, with participants of all fitness levels encouraged to take part in what has become one of Kampala’s key charity fitness events.

The Absa KH3 7 Hills Run continues to position itself as both a sporting and social initiative aimed at addressing barriers that keep girls out of school, while bringing together sport, music and community action in a single platform.
