During the gathering, Babalanda joined members of the church community in celebrating women of faith, recognizing their dedication, strength, courage, and grace in spreading the word of God and uplifting their communities.

Addressing the congregation, Babalanda encouraged women to remain steadfast in their spiritual journey and to continue serving God despite the challenges they may encounter in life.

“Women must strengthen their faith and exercise patience in every situation. Regardless of the many challenges we face, we must continue doing the work of God. As the Bible reminds us in Philippians 2:13, God works within us to accomplish His purpose,” she said.

Babalanda further emphasized that God cares for all people regardless of religious background, urging believers to maintain trust in God and continue praising Him with hope and faith that their prayers will be answered.

Babalanda also used the platform to address the younger generation, calling upon them to cultivate strong moral values and respect for their parents as a foundation for success in life.

“Young people must learn to trust God in all their activities and respect their parents if they are to prosper in their lives,” she said.

Babalanda also appealed to religious institutions to continue praying for peace and stability in the country. She emphasized the important role faith communities play in promoting unity, moral guidance, and national development.

Babalanda called upon the church to remain committed to praying for the stability of Uganda, its leadership, and global peace.

In conclusion, Babalanda mobilized the faithful to participate in the national celebrations scheduled for Sunday at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds, where leaders, women’s organizations, and citizens from across the country are expected to gather to commemorate the achievements and contributions of women.
