Addressing pastors and church leaders, Bishop Kazi expressed concern that some ministers are overly engaged in crusades, seminars, and other evangelical missions while neglecting their duties at home.

“As pastors, we must serve God diligently, but we should not forget our responsibility to take care of our wives and children. A strong church begins with a strong family,” Bishop Kazi said.

He emphasized that church leaders must lead by example, nurturing stable homes to maintain moral authority in the community.

The bishop also urged pastors to prepare couples intending to marry by guiding them not only in spiritual matters but also in the cultural and traditional practices of both families.

“When preparing people for marriage, we must ensure they understand both the spiritual and cultural aspects, so they enter marriage with clarity and mutual respect,” he added.

During the same meeting, Born Again Faith General Secretary for Kamwenge District, Bahati Sedrack, highlighted key achievements by the faith community.

He cited the establishment of a nursery school at the headquarters as a milestone supporting early childhood education.

“We have established a nursery school at our headquarters, which is a big step forward. We also plan to start a Born Again Faith SACCO and expand our coffee projects to boost income and improve members’ welfare,” Sedrack said.

Pastors attending the meeting, led by Atuhaire Gerald of Star Life Church Kahunge, welcomed the initiative to secure a marriage license, describing it as a significant development for the Christian community.

“The marriage license will help Christians register their marriages with the government and conduct holy marriages in line with our doctrine,” Atuhaire said.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment among church leaders to promote responsible ministry, strengthen family values, and pursue development initiatives to benefit members of the Born Again Faith in Kamwenge District.
