Kasolo also highlighted the importance of supporting youth initiatives, stating, “I remain committed to strengthening Patriotism Clubs and promoting youth economic empowerment. Our young people are the backbone of Uganda’s future, and patriotism must translate into actions that uplift lives.”

The Minister further suggested that patriotism training should become a government requirement for all students.

“We must institutionalize this training. Every citizen should have a solid grounding in the values that define our nation,” he urged.

The graduates, primarily medical students, expressed enthusiasm about applying the lessons learned in their personal and professional lives.

The ceremony also underscored the synergy between civic education and the development of competent, responsible healthcare professionals.
