The head of the State House Investors Protection Unit,  Col. Edith Nakalema, has been awarded the prestigious World Book of Records Certificate of Excellence in a ceremony held at the historic House of Commons, British Parliament.

The award recognizes Col. Nakalema’s unwavering dedication to fostering a corruption-free Uganda, promoting integrity among youth, and driving national transformation through agribusiness and community development.

Presented in London, this global honour not only celebrates her leadership and integrity but also highlights Uganda’s growing influence on the international stage.

Speaking at the event, representatives of the World Book of Records commended her "tireless efforts in public service, and her visionary approach to leadership and development."

"This global recognition is for her tireless commitment to building a corruption-free Uganda, inspiring integrity in young people, championing youth empowerment, and advancing agribusiness opportunities that drive community development and national transformation," the State House Investors Protection Unit said in a statement.
