Police in Namutumba District are investigating an incident in which four people of the same family in Buyobuya village, Bulange Sub-county were burnt to ashes in a suspected arson.
According to the local chairperson Buyobuya village, Fred Mulondo the incident happened on Monday night at around 1:00 am at Buyobuya village, Bulange subcounty in Namutumba district when a family of four was burt to ashes.
Speaking to Nile post, the resident district commissioner Mr John Bosco Mubito who visited the scene identified the deceased as Mukisa Mugume 25 father, his wife Annet Namagunga 30 and the two children , Edith 7 and Sylvia 5.
“It's alleged that the wife has been to different marriages and had family wrangles for long and it's suspected that one of the man he left has been following her for sometime.” said Mubito.
He said the investigations and efforts to arrest the suspect who is currently on the run have kicked off.
