Microfinance Support Centre, Mukono Diocese set up piggery project

The Microfinance Support Center (MSC) in partnership with Mukono Diocese, has launched a piggery demonstration project .
The project for demonstration purposes will be in charge of greater Mukono districts of Mukono, Kayunga, Buvuma and Buikwe.

The State Minister for Trade, Industry and Cooperative, Fredrick Ngobi Gume said the project will greatly benefit locals from the four districts .
Dr Emmanuel Kiiza Aliba, the board chairperson for Microfinance Support Centre invited locals to embrace all government programs.
"The project will enhance income and livelihoods by providing business opportunities, modern farming skills, and economic empowerment to the local communities," he said.
