Legendary news anchor, Zambali Bulasio Mukasa has Tuesday afternoon been unveiled at Next Media offices in Kampala.

Next Media is a holding brand for NBS Television, Sanyuka Television, Salam Television, Nile Post, Nxt Radio, and Next Production.

Zambali comes at a time when Next Media's flagship brand; NBS Television is revamping its Luganda news bulletin dubbed; Amasengejje that airs every day at 7:00pm.

Zambali is known for his commanding voice and articulate Luganda. He has until recently been working with Buganda Kingdom's CBS FM and BBS TV.

He now joins an experienced news desk headed by Joyce Bagala as the Chief News Editor and Anchor, Josephat Walugembe, Jamilah Mulindwa among others.

While talking at his unveiling earlier on, Zambali said that he joins Next Media to serve the viewers of all Next Media platforms.

"Our viewers on NBS TV, Next Radio and Sanyuka TV, I am here to serve. I am here because of you and I am ready," He said in part.

At his unveiling, Chief of Strategy, Joe Kigozi announced a new promotion called "Wangula NaAmasengejje" where viewers will win a lot of goodies while being informed.

"We are launching the "Wangula NaAmasengejje" promo that will run for four weeks to say Thank you to our viewers, build brand loyalty and recruit more viewers," Kigozi said in part.

To participate, one has to send a message with the word "Amesengejje" to 8008 to enter a draw.
