Mwalimu Ssozi Joram, a gospel artist and Music Director for the Ambassadors of Christ Choir (AOCC), is celebrating 37 years in music ministry with a concert titled "This Far by Grace" on September 7, 2025, at the Serena Hotel in Kampala.
The event is set to be a grand celebration of his service, particularly his 28 years with the AOCC, where he has been writing and directing music since 1997.
The concert will begin at 4 PM and feature a diverse lineup of performers. International choirs include the Ambassadors of Christ Choir (Rwanda), as well as Your Voice and The Bridal Choir (Kenya). Ugandan choirs participating are Golden Gate Choir, Hebrews Choir, Gabriel Ministries, Heavenly Gates Choir, Vision Choir, Harmonious Ministries, Jasper Singers, Heavenly Hearts Choir, and Jordan Shores. The event will also feature solo performances from Joseph Segawa, Ssozi Moses, and Kigozi Geri.
Founded in 1995 at Remera SDA Church in Kigali, the AOCC is a globally recognized gospel ministry. Their music, which spans multiple languages including Swahili, Kinyarwanda, Luganda, and English, has amassed over 500 million views on YouTube and other platforms in the last decade, with a subscriber base of 1.47 million on YouTube alone. The choir is proud to join Mwalimu Ssozi in this celebration.
