Eddy Kenzo, one of Uganda’s biggest music stars, has responded sharply to musicians who claim he is not using his connections to help them land international gigs.
Kenzo, who has performed in many countries, fired back, calling them “cry babies.”
In a media interview, he made it clear that his success is a the result of hard work, asking, “Who gave me connections?” before adding, “It is about work and doing what you have to do.”
Kenzo believes musicians should focus on their craft instead of looking for shortcuts.
