Singer Sheebah Karungi was left gobsmacked and frozen during the pre-battle debate with fellow artiste Cinderella Sanyu alias Cindy after the latter’s husband unexpectedly walked on stage.
The two artistes are pitied against each other in the upcoming battle of who is the “King” at a Victoria University-sponsored event this Friday at Kololo Independence Grounds.
As a precursor to the battle, the two artistes were tasked to make their media duties with a pre-battle debate moderated by NBS TV’s Zambali Blasio.
However, midway through the debate, with both artistes throwing verbal jabs, Cindy’s husband Joel Prynce Okuyo walked in, interrupting Cindy who was halfway through her submission.
On seeing her husband, Cindy stumbled off script..” hey baby” she said as the rest of the house was sent into a frenzy.
The two love birds hugged and pecked for a moment while deafening cheers led them on further.

Meanwhile, Sheebah, who has been labelled as the iPhone in this battle, remained frozen, and gaping, as if hit by a huge ice box. The “John Rambo” singer could not believe the masterclass queue in by Cindy, dubbed Nokia and her team.
Family and marriage later became a subject of the debate as Cindy counter-argued that she has no material success like her colleague Sheebah but basks in the success of being able to make a family.
Sheebah : I have a question for Cindy. What has she earned from her music career? I have houses I have built, she has none.
Cindy : I have a family, that I am accountable to. I don’t make life alone. So I might not be able to post our life achievements.
