Kigozi noted that the nature of the recovered items raises strong suspicion that they may have been obtained illegally.

“The exhibits recovered indicate possible involvement in handling stolen motorcycle parts. Investigations are ongoing to establish the full extent of this operation and identify other individuals involved,” he added.

The suspects are expected to be arraigned in court on charges related to possession of suspected stolen property.Police have also issued a caution to motorcycle riders, urging them to remain vigilant about their clients and to be careful about where they park or leave their motorcycles.

“We advise riders to be cautious when dealing with unknown clients and to ensure the safety of their motorcycles at all times to avoid falling victim to theft,” Kigozi emphasized.

Authorities say such targeted operations will continue as part of broader efforts to dismantle criminal networks involved in motorcycle theft across the region.
