Tecno has officially unveiled its new Spark 40 Pro Plus and the Spark 40 Pro, but also a surprise device that is the Tecno Slim.
The devices were launched at a function held in Kampala on Friday.
"What makes this device actually something you should seek out for is because one, it is one of the slimmest device in the market, but also it comes packed with a lot of specifications that give it power, something like the processor,” said Bruce Dickson, a product consultant at Tecno Mobile Uganda
“It comes with a Helio G200, that is one of the best processors in the category or in the mid-range devices right now, but also not forgetting the wireless charging. It is a device that has up to 30 watts wireless charging, but also 45 watts wired charging. So, if you're fast and you want quick power, the Spark 40 series gives you exactly that.”
He noted that the series also features AMOLED displays with 1.5K resolution.
During the same function, the Tecno Mobile Uganda product consultant warned Ugandans against counterfeits.
“We have stopped at nothing from giving you the best technology at affordable prices. That is what we are continuing to do and that is what we are going to do, ladies and gentlemen. However, we warn the public against counterfeit. Many people out there sell fake brands in the name of Tecno. When you go out in the market to buy a phone, only go to authorized shops. For example, if you go to a shop and they say they are selling you a Spark 40 Pro Plus at a cheaper price, don’t buy it, it is fake.”
“ So if you want cheap, you're going to get fake. Buy authentic, buy from authorised Tecno dealers.”
Tecno Brand Manager Timmy Shen said the Spark 40 Series has already proven popular in Uganda.
“This model is a big success here. It is more than just a device it is about style, creativity, and expression. That is why the Spark Series continues to resonate with the new generation.”
