Dancehall singer Alien Skin has asked singer-turned-politician Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine to stop looking to musicians for support in his political career.

The Sitya danger made the statements this week while appearing on NBS Television's After 5 show.

Alien wondered why Bobi Wine always seeks support from the artists and not from his peers in the political space.

"If I encounter difficulties in my music journey, I do not have to ask for help from mechanics. Now, he (Bobi Wine) is in politics and wants artists to support him," the singer said.

He added, "If you left music and went to politics, don’t look back to the music industry when you get challenges, consult the people in politics, I also don’t consult mechanics when I get challenges in music."

Alien, also blasted Bobi Wine's fans who always demand that he swears allegiance with the National Unity Platform (NUP) president.

"It's ok to see musician as your friend. If I offer an upcoming a million and he turns against me, why I can't I be against the person you are forcing me onto, the same person I have never met before," Alien singer.

Since rising to fame, Alien has been at odds with Bobi Wine's fans who have always accused him of betraying them by working with the government.

Many Bobi Wine fans believe that they played a big role in the Alien's musical career, although he has on several occasions said he would have still made it to the top without them.

"Did I tell anyone that I came from Firebase (Bobi Wine's record label)? I just love Bobi Wine as an individual..but there are these dogs around him. I'm also on top. And I've achieved everything I've through my own sweat," Alien said in a live TikTok session last year.
