Advisor Hillary Kisanja Predicts Landslide Victory for Museveni in 2026 Polls

Dr. Hillary Emmanuel Musoke Kisanja, a senior presidential advisor on agribusiness, has predicted that President Museveni will secure a landslide victory in the forthcoming 2026 general elections.

“The roads have been worked on, the airport expanded, and people have benefited from the Parish Development Model. Ugandans see no reason not to vote for President Museveni in the forthcoming elections. I predict at least 80 percent of the vote for him,” Kisanja said.

He made the remarks on Monday while speaking at President Museveni’s rally in Entebbe Municipality.

According to the senior presidential advisor, the large crowds witnessed across the country during Museveni’s campaign will translate into votes on election day.

Kisanja urged Ugandans “not to make any mistake” by voting for the opposition.

“Dear Ugandans, this is not a time for jokers. This is not a time for experiments. This is not a time for people who are being paid by Europeans to destroy this country. We must safeguard the peace and the gains achieved under the leadership of President Museveni,” he said.

“When you mismanage the politics of a country, you can destroy the lives of its people — the children, women, men, and even the economy. We must not make the mistake of voting for amateurs. This is not a football game where you try and either win or lose. This is a strategic decision, especially for young people, about who will lead this country. You either break the country or develop it,” he added.

Kisanja further said that in the new term, the NRM government has planned several programmes under his agribusiness and value-addition docket, which he said he is ready to implement.

“The President has given my office a budget that will benefit fishing communities, youth, and people involved in agribusiness and value addition. I am here to be a bridge between the President and the beneficiaries of these programmes. Therefore, you are not going to benefit from these programmes without voting for President Museveni,” he said.
