Wembabazi Appeals for Support as She Consoles Bereaved Family in Buseruka

The National Resistance Movement flag bearer for Hoima District Woman MP, Beatrice Wembabazi—popularly known as Teacher Mummy—on Thursday joined residents of Buseruka Sub-county to mourn the passing of Joseph, a respected elder whose influence and guidance had long shaped community life.

Wembabazi thanked the people of Buseruka for what she described as their consistent love, trust, and support throughout her political journey.

She extended condolences to the bereaved family and the wider community, noting that the death of an elder was a significant loss to a place that valued shared wisdom and harmonious living.

She reminded residents that her journey toward joining the 12th Parliament starts with their continued solidarity, saying the NRM vision can only be safeguarded if communities remain united and committed to building a stronger, better-served Hoima District.

"I'm grateful you gave me the flag, but the task ahead of us is still big. Let's turn up on January 15, 2026 and vote for Wembabazi. I will follow up on the NRM manifesto and also make friends and lobby for my people," she said.

The burial was also attended by Bugahya County MP and NRM flag bearer Pius Wakabi, who said his two terms in Parliament had given him seniority and connections that he now intends to use to lobby for improved services for his constituents.

"We still have power issues, water challenges, and the health centre IV is still lacking. We need to advocate for an increased road fund, among others," Wakabi said.
