It Is Our Time to Build a New Uganda – Bobi Wine Rallies Kazo Youth

The National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential candidate, Robert Kyagulanyi, popularly known as Bobi Wine, has called on Uganda’s youth to take charge of their future by voting for change in the 2026 general elections.

Addressing a campaign rally on Wednesday at Kazo Model Playground in Kazo Town Council, Kyagulanyi emphasized that the moment has come for young people to shape the destiny of the country.

“This is our time now. It is our time to bring a new Uganda, a Uganda that works for the young people,” Kyagulanyi told the cheering crowd.

He pledged that, if elected, his government would prioritize youth-centered issues such as unemployment, poverty, and limited access to opportunities.

“We want a Uganda where every young person can dream and achieve without being frustrated by a system that only benefits a few,” he said.

Kyagulanyi also warned against politicians who use tribalism to divide citizens, insisting that his vision is one of national unity.

“Do not allow anyone to divide you along tribal lines. We are all Ugandans, and we deserve a government that works for everyone,” he said.

He further dismissed claims that he would discriminate against people from certain regions if elected, particularly residents of Ankole.

“Some people are spreading lies that I will mistreat those who are not Baganda, especially our brothers and sisters from Ankole. That is not true. I want a Uganda for all Ugandans, without fear or favor,” Kyagulanyi clarified.

The rally in Kazo is part of Kyagulanyi’s nationwide campaign, which focuses on mobilizing young voters under the theme of unity, equality, and transformation.
