The funds raised will be used to establish a state-of-the-art ICT hub at the school, which will provide students with access to modern computing facilities and enhance their digital literacy.

This initiative is expected to have a significant impact on the community, particularly in promoting girls' education and empowering young women.

St. Agatha Girls Secondary School Kakore is the only girls' secondary school in Rubanda district, providing education to over 800 students from rural and underprivileged backgrounds.

With its student population expected to exceed 1,000 next year, the school faces significant challenges, but this initiative is a major step towards bridging the digital divide and unlocking the potential of its students.

The success of this fundraising dinner is a testament to the power of collaboration and corporate social responsibility.

As Minister Musasizi noted, "this project will assist in achieving social-economic transformation of the community."
