Dubai's Aster Healthcare Donates Mobile Clinic to Ministry of Health

The Consulate General of the Republic of Uganda in Dubai  has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding  between Aster DM Healthcare and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uganda.

This MoU formalizes the donation of a fully equipped mobile medical clinic by Aster DM Healthcare, aimed at improving access to healthcare services in underserved communities across Uganda.

The mobile medical unit, currently being custom-built in India, will be fully equipped with diagnostic and treatment capabilities.

Shipment to Uganda is expected within the next three months.

Once operational, the clinic will play a vital role in delivering primary healthcare services to remote and rural areas across the country.

This initiative marks the beginning of a broader collaboration between Uganda and Aster DM Healthcare, with future plans to deploy medical professionals from the UAE to work alongside Ugandan healthcare workers.

This will include specialist outreach programs, knowledge exchange, and capacity-building efforts aimed at strengthening Uganda’s healthcare delivery systems.
