Express forward Alpha Thierry Ssali, son of evergreen musician Moses Ssali, popularly known as Bebe Cool, is undergoing football trials with Khaled Catalunya Management in Spain.
The trials aim to assess Alpha’s skills, fitness, and potential for a professional football career.
Bebe Cool expressed optimism about the process, emphasising the value of the feedback they expect to receive.
“The insights we get will be critical in understanding his status as a player, identifying areas for improvement, and deciding on his next steps,” he noted.
Through his X account (formerly Twitter), Bebe Cool clarified Alpha’s immediate plans after the trials.
“Alpha will return to Uganda to complete the season in the Uganda Premier League. Any reports suggesting he has signed with a Spanish football club are speculative, premature, and inaccurate,” he stated.
Fans and supporters have been urged to remain patient and cautious about unverified claims.
“The trials represent an important step in Alpha’s football journey, and the family remains optimistic about his development and future opportunities,” Bebe Cool added.
Currently playing for Express in Uganda’s top-tier league, Alpha is regarded as one of the country’s rising football talents.
