Minister of State for Finance, Henry Musasizi, urged parents to prioritize education for their children, calling it "an investment in their future."
Speaking at the funeral ceremony of Mzee David Rwaheru in Rubanda district, Minister Musasizi praised the late Mr Rwaheru for ensuring "all his children received an education, despite his lack of formal schooling." He highlighted how some of Mr Rwaheru's children "have found success working abroad, financially supporting their father during his illness."
"My father, a friend of the deceased, faced challenges in his business," shared Minister Musasizi. "But because he invested in my education," he emphasized, "I was able to help him get back on his feet."
Minister Musasizi urged parents to prioritize their children's education, even amidst present struggles. "Don't be discouraged by current hardships," he advised, reminding them, "the future is brighter with education."
