The recent change of guard in the United Kingdom from Rishi Sunak to Sir Keir Starmer may not herald a change in fortunes in the European nation.

This is according to a recently published prophetic update given by Prophet Elvis Mbonye on 2nd January 2024 during his weekly fellowship.

While revealing the great and sudden destabilisation and mounting pressure upon Sunak, the shaking and chaos that ensued, Mbonye, specifically notes that; “I saw something that could easily take that nation in a more negative area.”

Sunak’s call for the sudden elections caught many political observers by surprise given his party’s lackluster standing in the polls.

Indeed, some analysts referred to the move as political suicide, drawing parallels with the prophecy.

“The way I saw him (Sunak) becoming unstable, what I could perceive was on the line, I saw like he was almost being removed. I was surprised as well in the spirit, this guy has just come in,” Mbonye says in the prophecy uploaded on his YouTube channel.

Among the major reasons for Sunak’s ouster was the failure to tackle the rising illegal immigration and unrelenting inflation.

But in spite the change of Prime Ministers, the UK could be headed for more torrid times, as per the prophetic utterance.

But the prophet offers a ray of hope. In the clip, he states that upon seeing the hard times ahead of the UK, he started to pray because the church is responsible for the intercession for the leaderships all over this globe.
