Bebe Cool Sets June 12 Release Date for New EP ‘No Risk’

By | June 5, 2026

KAMPALA — Ugandan music heavyweight Bebe Cool has announced the release of a new EP titled No Risk, scheduled to drop on June 12, 2026.

The announcement was made through the singer's social media platforms, where the Gagamel Entertainment boss confirmed that the project will be released next week.

While details regarding the EP's tracklist, collaborations and production credits have not yet been revealed, the announcement has already generated excitement among fans and industry observers.

The upcoming release follows Bebe Cool's 2025 album Break The Chains, which was released on May 30 last year and received widespread acclaim from critics and listeners alike.

The album showcased the veteran musician's willingness to experiment with contemporary African sounds, blending Afro-electronic, Afrotech and Afro-pop influences while maintaining his signature style. It also performed strongly on streaming platforms and reinforced his position among Uganda's most influential artists.

The release of No Risk comes at a time when Uganda's music industry has experienced a relatively subdued first half of 2026, with national attention largely focused on political developments and fewer major music projects reaching the market.

Industry observers expect the EP to help reignite activity within the entertainment sector and potentially set the tone for the second half of the year.

Over a career spanning more than two decades, Bebe Cool has built a reputation for strategic releases, elaborate promotional campaigns and an ability to generate nationwide conversation around his music.

His projects often attract significant public attention, and fans have already begun speculating about the themes, musical direction and possible collaborations that could feature on the new EP.

Following the announcement, supporters took to social media to celebrate the news and begin the countdown to the release date.

Upon its release, No Risk will be available across major digital streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Boomplay and YouTube Music.

The project is expected to be one of the most closely watched Ugandan music releases of 2026 and could provide an early indication of the musical trends likely to shape the industry in the months ahead.
