On May 18, 2025, Next Media Park in Naguru became a vibrant hub as the Next Stars initiative launched, celebrating Gen Z’s creativity. Themed “Be Good, Do Good,” the event inspired youth to use their talents for positive impact, supporting the vision of an “Unstoppable Uganda.” Over 50 electrifying performances in music, dance, and more captivated thousands, showcasing the next generation’s diverse skills.

Celebrities like Bebe Cool, Kataleya & Kandle (kandkmusicug), Benti Boys Africa, and Fik Gaza inspired attendees with their presence. Canary Mugume delivered motivational words, urging youth to pursue dreams relentlessly. Sponsors MTN Uganda and NBS Plus energized the crowd, with MCs keeping the vibes high. Sylvia Mulinge, MTN Uganda’s CEO, joined GCEO Kin Kariisa, enjoying the event as #TheNextstars trended online.

Youth creativity shone through Little Miss High School models and interactive activities, fostering community bonding. Attendees celebrated Gen Z’s potential to shape Uganda’s future, blending entertainment with purpose. The Next Stars launch at Next Media Park marked the start of a transformative journey, proving that fun and impact can go hand in hand.
