The Uganda Police Force has stepped in to mediate the escalating feud between musicians Pallaso and Alien Skin, following a series of violent clashes linked to their long-standing rivalry.

The intervention, led by Chief Political Commissar AIGP Ubaldo Bamunoba, aims to prevent further violence and promote peaceful conflict resolution.

This comes after Pallaso allegedly attacked Alien Skin’s home in retaliation for a performance dispute at the Empelle Festival, resulting in property destruction and injuries.

With gang violence increasingly infiltrating Uganda’s music industry, the police are now working to de-escalate tensions between the two artists.

Following the intervention, Bamunoba met with Alien Skin at the Police Headquarters in Naguru.

"Today, I had a meeting with musician Alien Skin due to the recent controversies involving him and Pallaso. I advised Alien Skin to avoid taking matters into his own hands through revenge and instead pursue mediation and peaceful resolutions," he said.

He also promised to contact Pallaso to help facilitate reconciliation, emphasizing the need for both artists to set a positive example.

"The purpose of the meeting was to advocate for peaceful conflict resolution within the music industry, as many young fans view these musicians as role models and they hold significant influence in our communities," Bamunoba added.
