Despite her impressive musical catalog, this will be her first ever solo concert, a milestone she describes as long overdue.
While speaking at the launch of the event, Naava expressed her excitement and gratitude to her fans, promising to deliver an unforgettable performance.
"I haven’t had a concert since my first release 'Aliba Waani.' I've been getting messages from my fans and friends asking me, ‘When are you giving us a concert?’ It seems I’ve been a bit selfish, but now is the time. I’ve decided to hold this on Valentine’s Day to celebrate love with my fans," she said.
Naava also promised to perform her entire collection of songs, offering a heartfelt experience to her fans who have supported her over the years.
"I will perform songs from 2011 up to now," she said.
To make the evening even more special, Naava will be joined by a stellar lineup of supporting artists, including Mun.G, Bruno K, Benji, Ruyonga, and Kenneth Mugabi, among others. With such a diverse lineup, the concert promises to cater to all music lovers.
Bruno K, a close friend of Naava Grey and a beneficiary of her exceptional songwriting skills, praised her unparalleled talent.
"I’ve had the privilege of working with Naava, and I can confidently say she is one of the best songwriters and lyricists out there. Despite facing challenges with people who have tried to derail her, I’ve always encouraged her to keep going. I remember a time when I had issues with a record label, and they struck my YouTube channel. Naava reassured me, saying, ‘Don’t worry; good music will always find its way to the people.’ Her resilience and positivity are truly inspiring," he said
He urged fans to seize the opportunity to witness her rare musical brilliance at the concert on valentine's day.
"Those who have never had a chance to see Naava Grey perform, this is the time to come! She has prepared herself well, and it will be amazing," Bruno K said.
The event is powered by a host of sponsors, including Fenon, I&M Bank, Sanyuka TV, Afro Mobile, Roke Telecom, and Serena Hotel, ensuring a world-class production.
