“As a brother to both Alien Skin and Pallaso, I urge them to pursue reconciliation and peaceful resolution of their differences,” Chameleone wrote.
“Working together is key to growing the music industry in Uganda and East Africa. So much more can be achieved together than apart!”
Chameleone also commended the efforts of Captain Mike Mukula, a prominent political figure and patron of Uganda's music industry, for mediating the conflict. He suggested that the artists hold a joint concert as a gesture of solidarity and goodwill.
“I encourage Alien Skin and Pallaso to hold a joint music concert that will send a powerful message of unity to all Ugandans. Together, we can achieve greatness!” Chameleone added.
The feud between Alien Skin and Pallaso took a violent turn recently, with Pallaso and his group allegedly raiding Alien Skin’s home in Makindye just hours after a confrontation at Buloba.
Videos and images circulating on social media show Pallaso commanding his group as they reportedly caused significant damage to property. Witnesses claim Alien Skin hid in the ceiling to evade the attackers, later emerging after Pallaso and his group had left.
Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango confirmed that Alien Skin filed a case against Pallaso, citing money theft, destruction of five vehicles, and damage to building windows.
“Preliminary investigations indicate that the conflict began during a performance at a venue in Buloba, Wakiso District, and escalated to the attack on Alien Skin’s residence,” Onyango said.
According to the police report, Pallaso and his gang allegedly attacked Alien Skin’s residence twice on January 2, 2025 at 3:00 a.m. and again at 9:00 a.m.
The attacks resulted in significant property damage and injuries to two members of Alien Skin’s group, who are currently receiving treatment at Kiruddu Hospital.
Authorities are continuing their investigations into the incident as calls for peace within the industry grow.
