The Chief Executive of Next Media, Kin Kariisa, has held talks with Musician Eddy Kenzo, the President of the Uganda National Musicians Federation and Senior Presidential Adviser on Creatives.
The meeting happened when Kenzo visited Next Media Park on Wednesday afternoon.
Their conversation focused on the creative industry’s growth, challenges, and strategies to unlock its full potential.
Mr Kariisa expressed his admiration for Kenzo’s dedication to elevating Uganda’s arts sector.
“Kenzo’s leadership, combined with his extraordinary journey in music, provides invaluable insights into the industry’s needs and opportunities,” Kariisa noted.
Eddy Kenzo’s accomplishments have positioned him as a beacon of inspiration for Ugandan creatives.
He is celebrated as the first Ugandan-based artist to earn a Grammy nomination from the Recording Academy and as a winner of the BET Awards.
These milestones highlight the vast potential of Ugandan talent when nurtured and supported.
Mr Kariisa reaffirmed Next Media’s commitment to championing the transformation of Uganda’s creative sector.
