St. Francis School of Health Sciences proudly celebrated the graduation of over 390 students, with female graduates outnumbering their male counterparts 238 women and 151 men.

The colourful ceremony was graced by several distinguished guests. The Guest of Honour, Rev. Fr. Prof. John Chrysostom Maviiri, emphasised the values of humanity, kindness, and service to others. He urged the graduands to carry these values into their professional lives.

He expressed gratitude to the parents and guardians who supported the students both morally and financially, enabling them to reach this important milestone.

Among the invited dignitaries was Owek. Ssekibobo Bintubizibu, who commended the school management for its vision and courage in establishing the institution, which continues to play a vital role in addressing the country’s healthcare needs.

The Chief Guest, Prof. Openjuru George Ladaah, Vice Chancellor of Gulu University, offered a heartfelt caution to the graduates. He reminded them, “Serve God’s people first; money will come later.”

His message was a powerful call to integrity and purpose-driven service, especially in the health sector. The event was a celebration of hard work, resilience, and hope for a better future, driven by a new generation of healthcare professionals ready to make a difference in their communities.
