Bugisu Cultural Institution Announces Doctorate Scholarships for Bamasaba

Richard Wambede, a minister in charge of Umukuka’s office, confirmed that these scholarships were secured during this visit, providing qualified Bamasaba scholars the opportunity to pursue advanced studies in their chosen fields.
The Inzu Ya Masaba cultural institution has announced a call for applications for 10 PhD scholarships at the University of Cape Town in South Africa.
This initiative follows a recent visit to South Africa by Umukuka, the leader of Inzu Ya Masaba.
Richard Wambede, a minister in charge of Umukuka’s office, confirmed that these scholarships were secured during this visit, providing qualified Bamasaba scholars the opportunity to pursue advanced studies in their chosen fields.
In addition to the PhD scholarships, the institution has also secured 10 undergraduate scholarships at Ibanda University in Uganda.
These scholarships aim to provide young Bamasaba learners the chance to further their education and access higher learning.
“We encourage all eligible Bamasaba to apply for these scholarships,” Wambede stated, urging those who meet the academic requirements to take advantage of the opportunities.
With financial barriers often limiting access to education, this initiative is expected to empower the next generation of Bamasaba professionals.
The scholarships will equip them with the skills and knowledge needed to contribute to the growth and development of the region.
Interested applicants are encouraged to submit their credentials for consideration. For further details on eligibility and the application process, candidates can reach out to the Inzu Ya Masaba cultural institution directly.
