My name is Irene Nanyanzi and I am deaf. As we celebrate this month of the women, I would like to celebrate my mother for not giving up on me. 

She has always provided physical and emotional support and when I told her that I'm now working at a Cafe (Silent Cafe) in Nakulabye owned and run by colleagues who are also deaf like me, she was amazed but also scared and worried.

She came to the Cafe and we had a candid conversation assuring her that she has gone through a lot raising me and it's now time for me to work hard so that I can be able to reward her and she should stop worrying because God is watching over us. 

I wish you all a happy women's mother and much love to my mother.
