The debut Captain Morgan Spice Takeover was a night of spice, groove, and electrifying entertainment, featuring Jamaican dancehall star Kranium alongside top DJs like Melvyn, Ssese, Kash Pro, Dj Bugy, Alza, and Lynda Ddane.
Kranium kicked off his performance around 10 p.m., thrilling partygoers with hits like "Gal Policy," "Nobody Has to Know," "Can’t Believe," and "Last Night."
Adding to the night’s energy, surprise performances by the DMC dance crew and Ink Dancers featured Afrobeat, Amapiano, and hip-hop choreographed routines.
The new Captain Morgan Spice look was also unveiled with a vibrant performance by the H2C dance crew.
Captain Morgan Brand Manager, Judie Nandekya, introduced the Spice Takeover as a fresh consumer platform aimed at immersing fans in the Captain Morgan experience, blending spice, creativity, and individuality.
Upon entry, attendees were greeted with a triangular tunnel and a free Captain Morgan bandana to accessorize.
Inside, the event featured rum cocktails, a red-themed food court, gaming options, stylish kitenge outfits, and photo booths, with free water stations promoting responsible drinking.
The debut event also launched the global Captain Morgan Spice On campaign in Uganda, celebrating consumers who bring their unique flair to every occasion.
With a vibrant setup, engaging performances, and affordable drinks, the Captain Morgan Spice Takeover has set a new standard for unforgettable nightlife experiences.
