The 3rd edition of the Intersociety Meet and Greet is set to take place on 28th June 2025 at Kazzi Beach, bringing together over 300 professionals from the Uganda Marketers Society (UMS), Public Relations Association of Uganda (PRAU), Uganda Advertising Association (UAA), and Human Resource Managers’ Association of Uganda (HRMAU). This year’s focus? Mental health, wellness, and professional collaboration.
The full-day event will feature a panel discussion led by mental health and financial planning experts, including Octagon Africa CEO Darius Niwaha, who will offer practical tools for emotional resilience and retirement planning.
Beyond dialogue, participants will engage in team-building games like volleyball, target shooting, football, and a treasure hunt—all aimed at encouraging physical wellness and reconnecting professionals beyond the boardroom.
HRMAU’s Waswa Moses said the event is about "building a self-sustaining ecosystem of professionals through shared experiences." UMS President Charity Winnie Kamusiime emphasized that "professional excellence goes hand in hand with personal well-being," while PRAU President Irene Nakasiita highlighted how play unlocks emotional healing and authentic connection in the industry.
UAA Chairman Rommel Jasi echoed this, saying, "This event helps us break barriers and support each other through industry pressure and burnout."
Each body brings a unique perspective.
- HRMAU, the leading HR professional body, is invested in employee welfare and corporate wellness.
- UMS, the voice of marketing professionals, promotes holistic growth for members—professionally and personally.
