MTN Uganda has officially launched its reward phase for the ongoing “Digida and Win with MTN CallerTunez” campaign by presenting a brand-new motorbike to the first winner, Alice Nabasumba, during a handover event held on Sunday, June 22, 2025, in Kasangati, Kampala.
The campaign, which began on May 19, 2025, encourages customers to activate MTN CallerTunez by dialing 17012# or by copying a friend’s tune using * or # during a call.
Subscribers who keep their CallerTune active beyond the free trial period stand a chance to win monthly motorbikes and weekly cash prizes of Shs100,000.

Speaking at the event, MTN Uganda’s GTM Digital Specialist, Ndawula Mavis Ndagire Musungu, applauded the enthusiastic response from customers and emphasized the company’s ongoing support for local music.
“Music is a vital part of who we are as Ugandans. Through CallerTunez, we’re not just supporting our artists — we’re creating a movement that celebrates our sound and rewards fans for being part of it,” Musungu said.
“Today’s handover is the first of many, and it shows that when we celebrate our music together, our hits truly become unstoppable.”
The campaign is part of MTN’s Ambition 2025 strategy, which seeks to strengthen digital and financial platforms while boosting engagement in Uganda’s creative industries.
Upcoming prize handovers will take place across the country, featuring local artist showcases, MTN Rig activations, and surprise UGX 20,000 Mobile Money giveaways to selected CallerTunez users.
MTN Uganda is using its official line, 0312120000, to contact winners, and customers are urged to keep their tunes active to stay eligible for future draws.
To join the campaign, users are invited to dial 17012#, choose a song that fits their vibe, and take part in what MTN calls “a celebration of sound and community.”
“Together, our hits are unstoppable,” the company affirmed.
